North America's number-one ranked winter recreation playground, Vail is regularly lauded by readers of ski magazines as the top spot to ride snow in the Western Hemisphere, and some would say the world. The Vail Valley is also quickly becoming known as a summer hot spot, offering gondola rides, 15 public and private golf courses, horseback riding, rafting and kayaking, cultural events at Vail's Gerald R. Now the largest single ski mountain in North America at 5,289 acres, Vail's 34 lifts and 193 trails guarantee unlimited skiing experiences every visit.

Now it's the town's turn. Redevelopment projects abound, totaling $1 billion in capital improvements between Vail Resorts, the Town of Vail and a slew of other private developers. Much of that energy has been focused on Vail Village and Lionshead over the last few years, but West Vail is next on the radar screen. With its mountain and hillside views, the location is within walking distance of two major grocery stores and numerous shops and restaurants.

The West Vail location, just east of Exit 173 along the North Frontage Road and approximately 3 miles away, allows guests and homeowners quick access to Vail Village and the base of Vail Mountain. See map below.
